What comes with this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak
This one's watch only, no box and no papers. That's normal for a watch that's changed hands a few times, and it's priced accordingly, since the same reference as a full set costs meaningfully more. It does mean authentication matters more, which is why we run the serial and go through the movement before anything ships.
We grade it fair. This one's been worn properly, so expect visible scratches, softened case edges and some bracelet stretch. Everything works the way it should and the price reflects the condition instead of hiding it. If you want to see a specific angle before you decide, ask and we'll send photos of exactly that.
How we authenticate Audemars Piguet before it ships
We check every watch here before it goes up. We go through the movement against the reference, look at the case and lugs for the sharp factory geometry that polishing kills, put the dial and hands under magnification for redials and swapped parts, and confirm the bracelet and clasp codes match the reference and the period.
We also run the serial before we list it, the same serial check we sell to buyers who are about to wire a stranger. That gives us the factory record and the stolen report. A clean serial only confirms the number was issued, not that the watch in front of you is the one it belongs to, which is why the physical inspection matters as much as the database. We wrote up the tells we look for if you want to know what we're checking.
Buying, shipping and payment
Text us and we'll tell you where it stands: whether it's still here, what we can do on price, and anything the photos don't show. There's no cart on this page. We'd rather talk to you before you send money.
Shipping is free, we cover it. Your watch goes out fully insured overnight FedEx, double-boxed and signature required, and it stays insured for the full purchase price from the time it leaves our safe until it's in your hands. We carry that risk in transit, not you.
Sales are final. The price reflects the condition we've described, and we've gone through that in detail above so you know what you're getting. The exception is a watch that turns out to be materially other than represented, so non-original parts we missed, a stolen report, or a warranty card that doesn't hold up. That's our problem to fix, not yours, and we make it right. It doesn't come up in practice, because we run the serial and check every watch before it's ever listed.
